The Confederation of African Football or CAF (French: Confédération Africaine de Football) is the executive and controlling body for African affiliation soccer.

CAF represents the country wide soccer institutions of Africa, runs continental, countrywide, and membership competitions, and controls the prize money, policies and media rights to the ones competitions.

CAF is the largest of the six continental confederations of FIFA. Since the enlargement of the range of teams at the World Cup finals to 32 in 1998, CAF has been allotted five places, even though this become expanded to six for the 2010 match in South Africa, to include the hosts.
